“Family Celebrations in
China” by Victor Huang. We in Ireland are becoming familiar with the
Chinese New Year
festival and its customs. However, there are other annual festivals in
China,
each with its special traditions. Victor Huang, an experienced
presenter, will
tell us about some of these, and also about how the Chinese mark the
big family
events – births, marriages and deaths. (Victor Huang, M.Comm, is a Ph.D Candidate in the Smurfit School of Business, UCD; Council member of the Ireland China Association, and Director of China Opportunities Consulting.)
