Welcome to a refreshed and renewed programme for 2011-2012. You will find a new emphasis on Open Learning in this programme. Those of us who work in Adult Education have always been persuaded by the benefits of learning. We know from our own experience that learning is energising and rewarding. We also know that this conviction is supported by firm evidence. We are shaping our 2011-12 programme around a framework for learning for wellbeing.

Our Adult Education courses have been designed and developed to meet the needs of adult learners in a modular, part-time, and affordable mode. Our Open Learning courses are creative, informative and educational. You may be motivated by a particular subject area, want to gain new knowledge or want to meet new people. We invite you to join up and enjoy the wide range of benefits in taking a course.

Whatever your motivation we hope you join us in lifelong learning at UCD. We look forward to meeting you!
