European Projects
The UCD Adult Education Centre has participated in two European projects:
ASSET: Adding Support Skills for European Teachers
and
European Puzzle: from local and national towards European Citizenship (see below)
Each project involved collaboration with adult educators from across Europe to develop resources, discuss teaching methodologies and share ideas and initiatives.
Both of these projects were funded under the Grundtvig programme which is part of the European Commission's new Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) that aims to strengthen the European dimension in adult education and lifelong learning across Europe.

- To respond to the educational challenge of an ageing population in Europe; and
- To help provide adults with pathways to improve their knowledge and competences.
