The objective of Summer School is to provide students interested in studying on any of the UCD Agriculture, Food Science or Human Nutrition degree programmes with an opportunity to gain a greater insight into the undergraduate opportunities available within the School. In 2012, this was achieved by experiencing riveting lectures by leading experts, participation in interactive workshops and laboratory experiments, field trips, attendance and an Agricultural Science Expo and by receiving tours of facilities relevant to programmes offered by the School.
