More than 250 delegates interested in finding out how predictive data analytics are impacting agriculture and food industries in Ireland and beyond attended the Harvesting Knowledge: Big Data in Agriculture and Food symposium.
The School of Agriculture and Food Science also launched an exciting new undergraduate degree programme entitled Agricultural Systems Technology at this event.

|12.06.17 - 15.06.17||Genomic Selection in Plant Breeding - A hands-on short course in R: This course aimed to provide a basic quantitative and statistical framework to apply GS in a routine manner. In this sense, the course focused on the application of plant breeding concepts through practical exercises in R. The course provided participants with the relevant theory of GS models, as well as with hands-on experience with relevant GS techniques.||Download the programme|
