The UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science in collaboration with Teagasc will host a conference entitled ‘Driving Farm Innovation through Knowledge Transfer’ on Friday 23rd October 2015. The Conference will take place in the George Moore Auditorium in the O’Brien Science Centre in UCD from 9am to 4pm. It will share learning from the UCD/Teagasc Masters in Innovation Support Programme on improving farm productivity and environmental management through improved approaches to knowledge transfer; whether categorisation of farmers can help in better meeting their needs; how advisory services can better reach out to the wider farming population as well as how best to support the next generation of young farmers.

This conference will appeal to all those working in public and private agricultural advisory and education services and be an important networking event for those interested in improving the processes of knowledge transfer in the farming sector.
