UCD/Teagasc Masters in Agricultural Innovation Support and Masters in Agricultural Extension and Innovation
Applications are now welcome for the UCD/Teagasc funded Masters in Agricultural Innovation Support and Masters in Agricultural Extension and Innovation starting in September 2018. These Masters Programmes are geared specifically to build the competencies of Agricultural Science graduates for careers in agricultural advisory and education services whether in the public or private sector. The Masters in Agricultural Innovation Support is a 21 month programme involving a 15 month placement in a Teagasc advisory office or agricultural college researching critical issues around the role of knowledge transfer in supporting farmer decision making and technology adoption. The Masters in Agricultural Extension and Innovation is a two year taught Masters programme where the student is based in an agricultural advisory office while completing academic modules and a minor thesis by distance and blended learning.
There are ten Walsh Fellowship funded places on each of these programmes which are due to begin in September 2018. The closing date for applications is 5pm, 30th May 2018. More information is available by emailing email@example.com.
