Agri-Food Graduate Development Programme

The Agri-Food Graduate Development Programme delivers 3 day intensive modules to upskill PhD researchers for competencies they will need for a career in the agri-food sector. It is a collaboration between UCD, UCC and Teagasc and funded by DAFM and is open to all postgraduate researchers in Ireland.

Modules are 3 days in duration and on successful completion researchers are eligible for 5ECTS. Modules help to develop researchers in transferable and technical skills. Examples of modules planned over the coming year are: Innovation and Creative thinking, Leadership, PhD skills, Media skills, Science Writing, Careers for the Agri-Food sector, the National and Global Food Sector and Hot Topics in Agri-Food Research. Modules are free of charge to attend and food is provided but researchers must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

More information, including modules which are open for application, is available at
