The Schools within the College provide a broad reange of programmes spanning Agricultural Production, Forestry, Agri-Environmental Science, Food Science, Human Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Nursing.
Agriculture & Food Science Programme
The School of Agriculture & Food Science offers two distinct undergraduate degree pathways:
BAgrSc
(Animal Science; Animal Science – Equine; Forestry; Horticulture, Landscape and Sportsturf Management; Animal and Crop Production; Agri‐Environmental Sciences; Dairy Business; Food Science, Food and Agribusiness Management; and Engineering Technology)
BSc
(Human Nutrition)
Each of the programmes has a number of places reserved for mature and access students and also offers FETAC links to students with related prior learning.
Veterinary Medicine Programme
The School of Veterinary Medicine offers school leavers the opportunity to study for degrees in Veterinary Medicine (MVB) and Veterinary Nursing (BSc).
The Veterinary Nursing degree offers FETAC links and mature student places.
Graduate Entry
Graduates can study veterinary medicine at UCD through a Graduate Entry (four‐year) programme if they already have a biological sciences degree or through the five‐year programme if they are non‐biological sciences graduates.
