WEEK 6 DEADLINES
SEMESTER 1: FRIDAY 19th OCTOBER
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
There may be circumstances in which you will want/need to take some time off from your degree. You must apply for this leave in advance and by the end of Week 6 of the relevant Semester. You may also apply for a Leave of Absence for a full Academic year. After week 6 applications for Leave of Absence for that semester become 'retrospective'. Retrospective Leave of Absence is rarely given and then only in exceptional circumstances. Leave of Absence cannot be taken in your first Semester of Stage 1.
Further information and application forms are available at:
Any modules dropped after Week 6 usually bring academic and fee implications. Please contact the Programme Office if you are considering dropping any module. (If you are considering revising your Resit/Repeat registration or approach, please contact the Programme Office).
WITHDRAWING FROM A PROGRAMME
If you wish to withdraw from your programme we encourage you to talk to a Student Adviser first. If you withdraw after the week 6 deadline, you will be liable for any fees associated with modules you are registered to! A formal Statement of Withdrawal is available through SISWeb; click here for a tutorial on completing this. Details of the Withdrawal procedure are available here. But please do come and talk to us before you take this step.
