The Schools that deliver our BA programmes provide a vibrant and dynamic environment for critical thinking, creativity and exchange.  As your disciplinary expertise develops, you will be equipped with knowledge and skills for employment or further study in diverse fields.  Many of our graduates are recognised for their achievements in the arts, business, the media, education, administration, advocacy and the public service.  We aim to help you lay down the foundations for a fulfilling and rewarding career whatever that may be, however you choose to define it, and to nourish a passion for life-long learning.

As a student of UCD and you will have access to a phenomenal range of ideas, activities and facilities and we encourage you to explore the social, sporting and volunteering opportunities now available to you.   Information on our webpages is designed to help you navigate your way through the information you will receive about your degree along with the services and supports that are here for you when and if you need them.  All of us here in the College of Arts and Humanities look forward to working with you throughout your time in UCD which we hope will bring an intellectual excitement, accomplishment and development to you.
