English Language Courses in UCD

The UCD ALC has developed an international reputation for its English language programmes since its establishment in 1989.  It has developed a range of areas of expertise in teaching and pedagogy.  We have a team of highly trained and experienced teachers who are engaged in continuous development of our curricula.

The ALC provides a wide range of English language courses throughout the year. These include:

• Short term and long term General English.
• IELTS Examination Preparation.
• English for Academic Purposes.
• English for Special Purposes (university collaborations, catering for groups, etc).

	Afternoon:  Part/time courses for IELTS examination preparation
	Year round:  Courses which are held throughout the year
	Examination Preparation:  IELTS Examination preparation courses
	Pre-Sessional: Courses that help you gain your required level of English for entry to university
	Summer: Intensive English courses held during the summer months
