DARE Orientation

This orientation takes place each year in the week before the main UCD Programme Orientation. This means DARE Orientation is usually the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the last week of August. This orientation is designed to help students who are entering UCD via the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) meet other students and get familiar with the campus before their programme orientation the following week. The orientation covers:

  • Getting to know UCD campus
  • Technology Training
  • Peer mentoring
  • Understanding UCD Supports
  • First steps of registering for support


DARE Orientation 2017 

DARE Orientation will take place Monday 28th - Wednesday 30th of August. The Orientation will take place in room H1.49 in the O'Brien Centre for Science.
