Introduction

UCD Development & Alumni Relations provides the vital link between our extensive alumni diaspora and the University’s development objectives.  Our Alumni Relations Programmes foster a lifelong spirit of involvement with the University. We work with alumni groups in Ireland and overseas to facilitate reunions and events and provide support to graduate associations.

The University has far-reaching objectives for its future development to further enhance the student experience. Our fundraising campaigns bring together the various fundraising strategies to support key growth areas. This includes the existing UCD Foundation, Friends of UCD and the John Henry Newman Foundation, as well as the UCD Alumni Fund, which employs mass fundraising campaigns to reach a new audience of alumni. Our fundraising campaigns work to harness and build on the goodwill that exists between alumni and the University.

Engaging alumni at all levels is key to success. We aim to establish a lifelong relationship with our alumni and foster a culture of their giving back to the place where they gained an excellent education so that this experience is available for future generations of students.
