There are two formal graduate associations in UCD: Engineering Graduates Association ( EGA ) and Medical Graduates Association ( MGA ).

These graduate associations are affiliated to the UCD Alumni. When a graduate of any of these disciplines joins, they are automatically members of their graduate association.

Each graduate association strives to promote and maintain contact with their graduates. They encourage research and co-operation between industry and the university and publicise the professional achievements of its alumni.

Each graduate association holds a variety of graduate social events and graduate awards which have continued to strengthen the links with UCD.
