Making an application online is the quickest and easiest way of applying to UCD. The online applications system is currently available for most postgraduate programmes and a small number of degree programmes in UCD. To check if your choice of programme is available through the online applications system, please click here.
If you wish to apply online for one of our Undergraduate programmes, you must apply via the Central Applications Office. Please note that non-EU applicants and Transfer applicants (post-initial year) for undergraduate or postgraduate programmes must apply using the UCD online applications system.
Applications for the Graduate Diploma in Education (previously HDip in Education) must be made through the Postgraduate Application Centre.
UCD uses a system of offer rounds to facilitate speedier decision-making and notification to graduate taught applicants throughout the year. All candidates are advised to apply as early as possible. The offer round dates are as follows:
1st Round 15 December
2nd Round 15 March
3rd Round 15 May
4th Round 15 July
