CHAGS13

UCD School of Archaeology to host CHAGS13

CHAGS13 (UCD, Dublin) will be taking place from June 27 – July 1 2022. Our goal is to plan a conference that is inclusive, diverse and a celebration of hunter-gatherer research.

The Conference on Hunting and Gathering Societies (CHAGS) is the conference of the (opens in a new window)International Society for Hunter-Gatherer Research and traces its origins back to the seminal ‘Man the Hunter’ meeting (Chicago, 1966).

CHAGS13 will be an interdisciplinary conference celebrating hunter-gatherer societies and researchers. The theme of the conference is taken from Professor Nurit Bird-David’s keynote address at (opens in a new window)CHAGS12 (Universiti Sains Malaysia, June 2018) and will be ‘living well together’.

The convenor of CHAGS13 is (opens in a new window)Professor Graeme Warren.
