The UCD School of Archaeology is sad to announce the death of Eoin Ó Cionna (1921-2010) who may have been the last survivor of the inaugural UCD Archaeology Society (established 1943) and the last surviving person to have witnessed the archaeological excavations on the summit of Baltinglass Hill in the mid-1930s.
