Archaeological Survey of Lambay Island

An on-going detailed archaeological survey of Lambay to provide the basis for understanding the long-term settlement history of the island. Involves recording all the visible archaeological features on the island, systematic collection strategy of surface lithics, rescue excavation in advance of erosion and a programme of geophysical survey (funded by the Heritage Council in 2003 and 2004, by the UCD School of Archaeology in 2005)
