Biography:
I am an archaeologist who has worked primarily on later prehistory in Northwest Europe and Southeast Asia. I am currently co-directing an excavation and field training project in Palawan Island, the Philippines, jointly with the Archaeological Studies Program in UP Diliman and the National Museum of the Philippines. I am also currently working on projects based in Laos, Malaysian Borneo, Scotland and Ireland. In addition to field research, I work as a geoarchaeologist with a specialisation in soil micromorphological study of features and buried soils.My teaching experience includes: geoarchaeology, landscape archaeology, environmental archaeology, the later prehistory of Britain, Southeast and East Asian archaeology, archaeological project management, archaeological fieldwork.
I am is currently the chair of the organising committee for the 14th international European Association of Southeast Asian Archaeologists, which will be held in Sept 2012 in Dublin at Dublin Castle and the Chester Beatty Library. Please see our website for more information: EurASEAA14
