Biographical History  

A member of Sinn FÈin and TD for West Cavan, 1918–22, he had moved to Dublin by 1927 for business reasons and had apparently retired from active politics.

T.D. for West Cavan, First Dáil (1919–21): constitution, orders of the day, departmental and ministerial reports and memoranda.

Second Dáil and Provisional Government (1921–2): memoranda on the Anglo-Irish Treaty; letters and telegrams from groups in Cavan relating to its ratification; circular memoranda, orders of the day and policy material relating to the 1922 general election.

Notes compiled while imprisoned in Lewes Prison after the 1916 Rising; related memorabilia.

Correspondence concerning the repayment of the 1918 and 1921 general election deposits.
