Four notebooks of Walter Noel Hartley, Royal College of Science for Ireland, and previously King’s College London. Two notebooks, one from his period at King’s (1872), contain lists of lecture experiments with details of chemicals, specimens, equipment and procedures. Two contain notes on experiments, one dealing mainly with oils, the other with fluorescence and colour (1887–1892).
