The
third in the series of City Hall History Lectures organized by
Dublin City Archives was held in November 2002 on the theme of
Dublin City in the Troubled Times, 1913–1922. Topics
included the 1913 Lock-Out, the Great War, the 1916 Rising and
the Civil War. The series proved to be very popular,
attracting lunch-time audiences of up to 100 people. The next
series takes place in April on the topic of Transport in
