UCD Photo-Call Project

'A break from study at Earlsfort Terrace in the 1930s' ,Photograph donated to Photo-Call by Mary T. Kelly

UCD Photo-Call is an exciting project launched by the UCD Women Graduates' Association. Its aim is to collect photographic material relating to life in UCD over the years. The material gathered will be lodged in the University Archives. If this information is not collected now, much of it will disappear forever and with it a priceless and irreplaceable record of life in the university over the decades. The project has the full support of the university.

Of particular interest to the project are photographs of social life in the university: outings, picnics, rag days, Dramsoc productions, dances, sports events, for example; but all photographs relating to life in UCD—academic or social—will be welcomed. If you are prepared to donate the photographs, they will be gratefully received. However, if you wish to have them returned to you, they will be handled with great care, copied and returned to you. Bearing in mind that the photographs may be published/displayed at a future date, it is important that they come with permission from the owner for their use. You will find a form to fill in and send with your photographs on the UCD website <www.ucd.ie/alumni/wga>.

The address to which photographs should be sent is: UCD Photo-Call, Room 10, Arts Annexe, Woodview, UCD, Belfield, Dublin 4.
