A former Honorary Secretary of the ISA, Mary Clark (Dublin City Archivist) has been awarded a PhD for her thesis Politics, patronage and patriotism: the Dublin Civic portrait collection, 1548–2000. Her research was carried out in the School of Art History and Cultural Policy in UCD under the supervision of Dr Christine Casey and her thesis was examined by Dr Paula Murphy (UCD) and Dr Toby Barnard (Hertford College, Oxford).
