- Feb 16 - Susanna and the Elders: Images of Venice - Audrey Nicholls. Audrey Nicholls recently and successfully completed a PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Philip Cottrell. Her research investigated the popularity of the subjects of the Adulterous Woman and Susanna and the Elders in 16th-century Venetian painting.

Research Interests: 16th-century Venetian painting; the Milanese followers of Leonardo da Vinci; 17th century English tomb sculpture. Recent and forthcoming publications include articles on the market for Venetian art at the court of Philip II of Spain, and John Donne's funerary monument at St Paul's Cathedral, London.
