Emma Dunne, PhD in French, wins audience prize at Month of La Francophonie in Ireland

'The French Embassy in Ireland recently organized the first edition of 'My Thesis in 3 minutes…in French!', as part of the celebrations for the Month of La Francophonie in Ireland. 25 students from various universities took part, presenting on a wide variety of topics. Emma Dunne, PhD candidate in French in the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics UCD (PhD supervisor: Dr Síofra Pierse) was awarded the audience prize/ 'le prix du public' for the presentation of her thesis, 'Le Bonheur dans les Œuvres Complètes d'Isabelle de Charrièr.’
