The subject area contributes to four primary undergraduatre programmes. We offer the programmes in Economics & Finance and Actuarial & Financial Studies, and offer a specialism in Banking & Finance within the general BComm programme. At a graduate level the subject area offers a wide range of programmes, further details of which can be obtained from the respective home page. We offer two research programmes, the Ph.D programme and a masters by research (MComm). Both follow a North American style of programme with coursework playing an important role. We offer three masters programmes. The MBS in Finance is a broad based masters programme. The new MSc in Quantitative Finance is a two-year programme launched in 2003. The Executive Masters in Risk Management is offered in association with the Institute of Bankers.
