A forensic scientist has been called to analyse evidence from a murder scene. She takes a sample of blood from the victim, from a blood stain on the victims clothes presumed to come from the murderer, and from two suspects supplied by the Gardaí. She isolates DNA and determines the pattern using a single locus probe. Examining the resulting gel below, what do think her conclusion should be?
