Irish Mammal Survey
Welcome to the Mammals in Ireland website which has been setup as a part of a study on biodiversity in Ireland. This study will incorporate information on sightings of both native and introduced animals in Ireland provided by members of the public. As a way of appreciation for your help any information submitted can be viewed on the distribution maps that will be created and updated at 2-weekly intervals. These maps will display the distribution of individual species in each county or in the country as a whole and can be accessed through the link below. We would like to thank all participants for their interest and participation in this study and ask you to keep us informed of any future sightings.
