Winning Men's Crews of the 2008 Colours Races UCDBC AlumniSimply put, the club could not achieve the success it has done without the support of our past members. We are extremely lucky & grateful to have the strong support that we do, for what we recognise is a massive commitment. Whether this commitment takes the form of hours spent coaching on the bank, serving on the club’s committee or financial contributions to the club, we’d like to thank you and hope your support will continue. Currently the club is on a magnificent run of form. With a very strong, young Intermediate squad, including the record-breaking Novice Championship winners of the previous year; the club has been able to compete successfully at Senior level. We won both St. Michael’s & Dublin Heads outright. This was the 1st time UCD won Dublin Head since the 70s. The club also placed 2nd overall in both Lagan & Erne Heads ahead of several other Senior boats. Our current Novice squad has already shown its potential in the Head season, winning the novice category easily in both St. Michael’s & Dublin Heads. In the Colours Races against our old rivals, we achieved a clean sweep in all four races for the 1st time in the club’s history on the 60th anniversary of the Gannon Cup. Success leads to more success and the profile & ambitions of the club are continuously rising. To continue the club’s run of success, we hope that you will continue your support. There are several ways to get involved with the club, such as contributing to the Graduate Fund or becoming a member of Old Collegians Boat Club.
