Steering committee news: 

The first meeting with the steering group took place on Friday, 28 April 2006 in the EPA, Clonskeagh office. 

A field trip was organised the following day to several peatland sites in Co. Offaly. Click here for photos. 

The second meeting with the steering group took place in Dublin on Wednesday 17 January 2007 in EPA, Clonskeagh office.

The third meeting took place in Ballina Co. Mayo on Friday 7 September 2007 following a field trip (5-6 Sept) organised around the bogs of Co. Roscommon and Co. Mayo. Click here for itinerary of the BOGLAND FIELDTRIP 5-7 SEPT 2007 and click here for photos.

The fourth meeting with the steering group took place on Thursday, 12 June 2008 in Tullamore during the International Peat congress.
