Automated External Defibrillators

UCD currently has 23 automated external defibrillators (A.E.D.) on its Belfield, Blackrock and Lyons Estate sites.

Automatic External Defibrillators are located at the following locations:

• James Joyce Library - Admissions Desk
• Lyons Estate
• Main Restaurant - Lobby
• Mobile Patrol Vehicle
• Newman Building - Services Desk
• Newstead - Services Desk
• Nova UCD
• O'Reilly Hall
• Quinn School of Business - Services Desk
• Roebuck Castle - Programme Office
• Science - Services Desk
• Smurfit Graduate School of Business, Blackrock - Services Desk & Library Corridor
• Sports Centre
• Student Health Centre
• UCD Bowl
• Veterinary Science - Services Desk

In the event that a defibrillator is required call the 24 hour emergency line on internal extension 7999 (01 716 7999) or pick up a red emergency telephone.

First Aid and A.E.D. training can be organised through the Safety Office.
