UCD Health Sciences Centre – the “Terrace”
Linking the old to the new, the development of the “Terrace” in the UCD Health Sciences Centre will serve to reinforce the historical connection of the university with Earlsfort Terrace.
While the year 2008 heralded the official farewell to Earlsfort Terrace, UCD is keen to ensure that future generations are reminded of the significant role this former seat of education played in both the early establishment of the university and the development of many student generations.

Enhancement works were undertaken this summer in the UCD Health Sciences Centre to generate the “Terrace”, a space which will provide a student friendly atmosphere and space for interaction between staff, students and visitors. The new social space will also be used as a temporary exhibition space.

The entrance to the building is also receiving a new revolving door and canopy. These have been installed to boost the overall appearance, entrance, and performance of the building.
