Belfield Car Parking (September 2010)
Over the summer increased building work on campus and in particular the enabling works for the UCD Sutherland School of Law, have resulted in some changes to car park locations and type, however the overall number of car park spaces has not been affected. In particular, please ensure you are aware if a car park has now been designated as Pay and Display by checking signage in the car park.
Please note the following car park changes:
A: Pay & Display car park beside Belfield House. This parking facility will be removed until November 2010 to allow for the realignment of internal roadways. Spaces from this area will now be accommodated in the car park between the Quinn School and the Engineering Building, designated as D on the map.
B: Car park behind St Stephens accessed through the Pay and Display car park beside Belfield House: This facility will be closed periodically until November 2010 to allow for the realignment of internal roadways. Replacement car parking will be provided opposite the Quinn School in a temporary car park designated F and new car park designated G on the map.
C: Route of the new road which will pass behind St Stephens and the New UCD Sutherland School of Law building. This work is scheduled to be completed by November 2010.
D: Car park between the Quinn School and the Engineering Building, designated as D on the map, currently accessed from the Quinn School junction will be accessed from the N11 entrance and will be Pay and Display as of the 13th September (replacing the spaces in the Belfield House Pay and Display).
E: New permanent car park replacing Pay and Display parking spaces previously in the car park opposite the Quinn School.
F: Temporary car parking on the Sutherland School of Law site accessed off the road running in front of the Quinn School.
G: New permanent car park.
