New Residence at Roebuck
The latest phase of student accommodation at Roebuck Hall reflects the University’s continued commitment towards sustainability principles and was designed to help reduce the student carbon footprint during their residence on the Belfield Campus.
Amongst its many sustainable features, the Roebuck Hall Student Residence incorporates the use of rain water harvesting, solar panels for water heating, and a highly insulated facade to help retain the heat in line with passive energy practice.
Accommodation includes ensuite bedroom and study area, shared tv room and kitchenette facilities together with a local restaurant in which residents take breakfast and dinner. During the day the catering facility is open to the wider University community. The new residence also contains a fitness room, launderette, printing and photocopying facilities.
