Work Commences on UCD Roebuck Residences (Phase 2)

A major part of the learning experience for students is wrapped up in their housing situation while at University. It is no longer enough simply to provide students with four walls and a bed. Students expect more from the campus living environment. The planning, design, construction, renovation and policies regarding student housing has the ability to greatly influence the student experience.

Campus planning must deliver solutions that respond to the changing economic, demographic, and technological changes that face higher education. Campus residence accommodation is a significant part of the University portfolio and it brings together a range of students from different cultures, races, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The student village acts as a focal point at the heart of the academic and social life of the Campus.
