Roebuck Residences Update
Enabling works for the second phase of Roebuck Residences were completed this summer. This new residence will generate an additional 134 bed spaces and will enhance the existing student village at Roebuck Hall. It will offer a variety of common areas to encourage student interaction including group study and recreation areas.
Following an EU procurement process, the main contract was awarded to J.J. Rhatigans and Company. Their previous educational campus experience includes award winning facilities in Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, the Research and Innovation Centre in Athlone, and the Science and Technology Building at National University of Ireland, Galway. Previous work on the Belfield campus includes the Centre for Synthesis and Chemical Biology (CSCB) which was completed in 2005.
