UCD Staff Open House 2011: Get to Know Your Campus
UCD staff are invited to ‘get to know your campus’ by visiting some of our period houses and newest buildings. On Thursday 28th April, guided tours of several of the period houses will explain their historic significance, the restoration work undertaken and their modern day integration into campus life. You will also find out about the associated UCD artworks, the UCD Sculpture Trail and UCD’s Woodland Walks. Tours of two of the newest buildings on campus will highlight their unique design elements, latest facilities and the science being undertaken in these state-of-the-art additions to the campus.
Tours available on the day include:
- Tour 1: Belfield House, Art Collection and Courtyard
- Tour 2: Roebuck Castle, Roebuck Hall Residences and an introduction to the UCD Sculpture Trail
- Tour 3: Merville House and NovaUCD - the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre
- Tour 4: Charles Institute of Dermatology
- Tour 5: UCD Science Centre South
