Students needing career advice and guidance

You may be in a position of needing to refer a student to the Career Development Centre for career guidance. Please ask the student to visit to the reception desk at the Centre where our first level guidance assistants will help the student make use of the services we offer. Students seeking a meeting with a Career Development Adviser generally make use of our quick query service in the first instance. Details on our quick query sessions may be found on the Resources at UCD section of this website.

Please note that sessions are offered Monday - Thursday with some sessions dedicated to queries on applications for work and graduate study only. While there is no definitive list of the queries we deal with, here are some examples:
