Students needing career advice and guidance
You may be in a position of needing to refer a student to the Career Development Centre for career guidance. Please ask the student to visit to the reception desk at the Centre where our first level guidance assistants will help the student make use of the services we offer. Students seeking a meeting with a Career Development Adviser generally make use of our quick query service in the first instance. Details on our quick query sessions may be found on the Resources at UCD section of this website.
Please note that sessions are offered Monday - Thursday with some sessions dedicated to queries on applications for work and graduate study only. While there is no definitive list of the queries we deal with, here are some examples:
| Career Options | Job Search | Graduate Study |
|---|---|---|
|
How do I make a career decision? |
Where can I find graduate level internships or jobs? |
What is a Masters degree? |
For more information on the full range of information and services on offer, browse through the other sections of this site and consult the UCD Career Guide 2011/12.
