ACADEMICS > GRADUATE DESTINATIONS - FIRST DESTINATION SURVEY
UCD Career Development Centre can assist Schools prepare for course and quality reviews by supplying data on graduate destinations. The information we can provide you with is gathered through an annual survey on the first destination of UCD graduates. Effectively this survey takes place nine months after students complete their course. The Higher Education Authority requires all HEIs in Ireland to carry out this survey and data submitted to the HEA is used to produce publications such as What Do Graduates Do?.
The Career Development Centre can also supply Heads of School and academic staff with summary data. For example, the table below shows the global statistics for UCD graduates in 2010.

During the 2010/11 academic year, members of staff at the Career Development Centre have worked with staff at UCD Information Services to make graduate destination data more accessible to academic staff in a more user friendly format. It is hoped that academic staff may access destination data for their School through Infohub by the end of September 2011.
Should you have a request concerning the destinations of your students, please contact Sorcha Mulcahy, Deputy Director, UCD Career Development Centre at sorcha.mulcahy@ucd.ie in the first instance.
