Stand Alone Lectures, Workshops and Events
UCD Career Development Centre offers all UCD students access to a centralised programme of developmental career and information activities each semester-Careers Fairs, Employer led recruitment presentations on campus, workshops and non-credit bearing programmes in career management and employability skills, sessions on CV writing, effective interview skills and career choice. To see a list of events arranged for this semester, click here. These events are offered on an optional basis and students self-select to attend. It is our experience that many students who would benefit from attending choose not to and that is why we try to embed as many activities into the curriculum as possible.
Integrated Lectures, Workshops and Events
Support from academic staff leads to enhanced student attendance and learning. The advisory staff at the Centre works in partnership with academics and develops, delivers and evaluates career interventions tailored to the needs of specific groups.
