This valuable printed resource helps students to be self-reliant, plan and manage their own learning and develop career management skills. Free copies are available from the Career Development Centre. www.uyt.ie

'Profiling for Success' Personality & Skills Asessments

This is an important new resource recently acquired by the Career Development Centre for the benefit of UCD students, recent graduates and staff.

Prospects Planner  
A job exploration tool which aims tohelp you identify your skills, motivations and interests and then to match yourself to relevant job types. You will need to register with My Prospects to avail of this.

Career Directions A package developed by FAS which suggests careers and general career areas based on an individual’s personal and work interests. 

Careers Portal An Irish resource dedicated   to those who want to plan their career.

Windmills Programme Manage your career using the Windmills Programme, especially useful ar the “Career Fitness Check” and “Seven Tactics for Success”.

Quintessential Careers Career Assessment Tools and Test.  Test to give you a better idea of your attitudes and interests as they relate to possible career choices.

'What Colour is You Parachute?'  Based on the US book “What Color is your Parachure”, particularly useful for mature students and people making a career change.
