Meet with a Careers Adviser
We are happy to offer students and recent graduates an opportunity to meet with a Career Development Adviser for a consultation on careers related matters. Please see below for details on the types of appointments we offer, our schedule and details on how to book an appointment.Quick Query
Students and recent graduates are invited to avail of our Quick Query service, where they can meet with a Career Development Adviser for a 20 minute consultation on career options or graduate study. In addition to career guidance, we can also review CVs, Cover Letters, Personal Statements and Application Forms. You must bring a printed copy of your CV, Cover Letter, Personal Statement or Application Form with you to the session. (For online applications, please print out each page and bring that with you to the session.) Times are as follows:

How to book an appointment
At present, we only offer on the day appointments and all appointments must be made through CareersConnect. Details on how to book an appointment are below:

You will need to log in to CareersConnect using your UCD Connect login to make an appointment with an adviser. We have created a guide for students which you can download below Using CareersConnect to book an appointment If you have any issues logging in or creating an appointment, drop into the Career Development Centre approximately 20 minutes before service starts and our reception staff will assist you in creating an appointment. |
We offer appointments to recent UCD graduates, up to two years after graduation. You will first need to register as a graduate using CareersConnect. To book an appointment, you will then need to contact our reception team on 01-7167574 or drop into the Career Development Centre approximately 20 minutes before service starts. |

Careers Information Library
The Careers Information Library @ the UCD Career Development Centre has a wide range of reference and take-away materials relating to employment sectors, CVs, cover letters, job applications, graduate study applications, psychometric testing as well as a range of career planning tools. We also have six 'Stand Up and Surf' terminals available for use within the centre itself.
