Accenture "Academic Innovation in Computing Award"

Accenture would like to invite IT and Computer Science students to participate in their Accenture Academic Innovation in Computing Award. The award is based on students' final year college projects and will recognise, reward and encourage excellence in the area of innovation. It provides students with the opportunity to gain exposure for the hard work that they put into their projects and the possibility of winning a €2000 cash prize.

Students or their college lecturers may submit projects for inclusion. Projects and associated documentation should be submitted in the same format in which they are submitted to the college. It is not expected that students will need to perform extra work on their projects in relation to the award. All submitted projects will be assessed by the Accenture project review board and a number of finalist projects will be chosen to be demonstrated to the board by the successful students.

Further information is available at http://www.accenture.com/innovationaward/. Closing date: 8th May 2010.
