CASL Fantasy Football League 2011-2012 has just been launched!!

Some of you may already be familiar with the game, in which case skip to the bottom! For those who aren't, it is a free online game based on the English Premier League. You pick a squad of 15 players from a fixed budget, then score points based on how those players perform in that weeks (real-life) matches. Points are scored for things like appearances, goals scored, assists, clean sheets etc. For a full rundown click "Rules > Scoring". The team who scores the most points, wins... simlples!
To register, go to the above website and follow the steps, it's pretty simple. once you've entered your team you can commit as much or as little time and effort as you want. Each week you can make transfers, change your starting team, captain etc. On the other hand, you can leave everything unchanged and your team will continue to accumulate points.
Every team is automatically entered into the overall competition (a few million people worldwide!), but you can also set up and/or join smaller private leagues. I have set up a league for CASL... using all my imaginative and creative powers, I named it "UCD CASL". To join, once you have set up your team, click "Leagues > Join a League > Private League", and enter the code below. Then prepare to test your strategic skills against the best and brightest of CASL (that would be me :-P)

There are unconfirmed rumours of PRIZES!!! The more people who join, the better. The game is easy to play and a lot of fun... you may even find yourself on a Tuesday night in February, watching West Brom vs Norwich, screaming at the television for them to get the ball to Shane Long so he can earn you some all-important points... or maybe that's just me...
