Management Structure and Governance Board

The Centre for BioNanoInteractions is managed and operated by a Governance and Advisory Board, chaired by Mr. Paddy Teahon, former Secretary General to the Taoiseach and reporting to the President of UCD.  The Board includes members with scientific, administrative and business expertise.  The operation of the Institute is under the directorship of Professor Kenneth Dawson.

The Governance Board is supported by both a Scientific Advisory Board and Industry contact group. The BioNanoInteract Executive Management Group contains leading Principal Investigators from Irelands top Universities whom support the Director Kenneth Dawson in mapping out the research and career pathways of the Postdoctoral Fellows and PhD Students in the Centre.

The Centre for BioNano Interactions and the Management and Governance Structure under which it operates facilitates its rapid growth in this area.
