Prestigious ERC Starting Grant Awarded to Dr Anna Salvati, former Senior Researcher with CBNI.

The Director Prof. Kenneth Dawson, and Team at the Centre for BioNano Interactions are delighted to announce Dr Anna Salvati’s success in her application for an ERC Starting Grant. Dr Salvati joined the CBNI Research Team in 2007, departing last year upon award of the prestigious Rosalind Franklin Fellowship with Groningen University in the Netherlands.

Dr Salvati is now assistant professor at the Division of Pharmacokinetics, Toxicology and Targeting (Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science).

Dr Salvati’s research, including her ERC Award will focus on nanoparticle uptake and development of the current understanding related to the cellular processes involved in trafficking internalised nanoparticles.
