Dorota Walczyk

joined the Centre for BioNano Interactions in February 2008. She leads experiments based on measurements of physicochemical properties of standard nanoparticles using DLS and Nanosight techniques, as well as methods that allow the study of the nanoparticle corona in situ, such as Differential Sedimentation Centrifugation. She is also involved in investigation of the hard protein corona of nanoparticles, mainly based on SDS-PAGE and size exclusion chromatography. In the future she will be working with mass spectrometry for identification of corona proteins.

Dorota received an MSc and a Chemical Engineer degree in June 2007 from Kracow University of Technology, where she was also working as a student trainee in an inorganic chemistry laboratory. From 2007 she is a member of Polish Chemical Society.
