About Us

CeADAR (the Centre for Applied Data Analytics Research) has been established to enable research in the field of Applied Data Analytics.

Padraig Cunningham(UCD), Barry O'Sullivan(UCC) and Brian Mac Namee(DIT) will lead the CeADAR project themes.

Under the SSTI policy 2006, the Programme for Government 2011, and the Government Action Plan for Jobs 2012, technology centres have been identified as a key component of Ireland’s Economic Development Strategy.

Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland have prioritised the Data Analytics area and this centre, CeADAR, is supported by industry partners of commercial interest to specific sectors.
